Items Needed for Pinecone Turkey pinecones tissue paper construction paper

Directions

Each child will need a pinecone, several 1 inch squares of tissue paper and a head/neck run off on brown construction paper.

Color the waddle and beak of the turkey head. Cut out and blue onto the side of the pinecone.

Tuck the head into the pinecone and hold for a minute or so.

Take the tissue paper squares and twist on the top of a pencil to make feathers.

Glue the tissue papers randomly into the pinecone.

Set the finished turkey onto a ring of construction paper and glue down.

This will help the turkey stay upright.
