Items Needed for Lace Candy Cane Ornament 1 foot quilters lace 1 pipe cleaner (metallic gold) 20 beads ( red, green or clear) embroidery thread (gold)

Directions

Pick out 20 beads in whichever combination you want (red, green or clear).

Cut off 1 foot of lace from roll unless you got pieces cut for your ornaments at the store.

Thread pipe cleaner through first hole of lace strip. Fold end of pipe cleaner up to prevent beads sliding off.

Add a bead.

Thread pipe cleaner through the next hole.

Continue alternating beads and lace on pipe cleaner until you reach the end of your foot of lace.

Cut off excess of the pipe cleaner.

Fold up the other end of the pipe cleaner to prevent the beads and lace from sliding off.

Tie a length of gold embroidery thread to top to hang on your tree or wherever you like.
